Over the years, City Bees hives have been hosted in many beautiful and delicious neighborhoods. The hills and valleys here in the city, along with the differing weather brought on by proximity to fog -- every neighborhood and district ends up with different plant structure. While neighborhoods are all green and flowering, they taste completely different and being able to share that honey with your family and through the farmers market is an extraordinary experience. Local food becomes an understatement if you host a hive in your backyard.

Bees are very life-affirming to live with. Everything about them is great. People who host hives often find themselves going out to watch the bees several times a day for a few minutes each time. It just happens.
